The Prayer to Gyalwang Karmapa Tekchok Dorje¹

སངས་རྒྱས་ཀུན་འདུས་འགྲོ་མགོན་ཀརྨ་པ། །

sangyé kündü dro gön karma pa

Embodiment of all buddhas,

དངོས་གྲུབ་ཆར་འབེབས་ཡི་དམ་ཞི་ཁྲོའི་ཚོགས། །

ngödrup charbep yidam zhitrö tsok

guardian of beings, Karmapa—

ཀུན་འདུས་ཐེག་པ་མཆོག་གི་རྡོ་རྗེ་ལ། །

kündü tekpa chok gi dorjé la

host of peaceful and wrathful yidams who rain down siddhis,

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བྱིན་གྱིས་བརླབ་ཏུ་གསོལ། །

sölwa dep so chingyi lap tu söl

Tekchok Dorjé, quintessence of all—I pray to you now! Bestow your blessings!

སྡིག་སྒྲིབ་རྐྱེན་ངན་བར་ཆད་ཞི་བ་དང་། །

dikdrip kyen ngen barché zhiwa dang

Pacify misdeeds and obscurations, negative factors and obstacles,

མཆོག་དང་ཐུན་མོང་དངོས་གྲུབ་མྱུར་དུ་སྩོལ། །

chok dang tünmong ngödrup nyurdu tsöl

and swiftly bestow the supreme and common siddhis!

ཚེ་འདིར་རང་སེམས་ཆོས་སྐུ་མངོན་གསུམ་རྟོགས། །

tsé dir rangsem chöku ngön sum tok

Here, in this life, may I directly realize my mind as dharmakāya,

ཕྱི་མ་མཁའ་སྤྱོད་ཞིང་དུ་སྐྱེ་བར་ཤོག །

chima khachö zhing du kyewar shok

and thereafter may I be reborn in the celestial realms!
