༄༅། །སྤྲོས་མེད་དོན་གྱི་བླ་སྒྲུབ་བཞུགས་སོ། །
The Ultimate Guru Sādhana of Simplicity
སྔོན་འགྲོ།
The Preliminaries
ཨ ཡེ་གྲོལ་རིག་པ་དོན་གྱི་སྐྱབས། །
ah yedröl rikpa dön gyi kyab
A! Primordially free awareness is the ultimate refuge.
རིག་རྩལ་སྙིང་རྗེའི་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་དོ། །
riktsal nyingjé semkyé do
I form the compassionate resolve, the expression of awareness.
མ་རིག་གཟུང་འཛིན་བག་ཆགས་བགེགས།
marik zung dzin bakchak gek
For the obstructors—ignorance, dualistic fixation, and habit—
རང་གྲོལ་ཀློང་དུ་མཚམས་བཅད་དོ། །
rang dröl longdu tsam ché do
I draw the boundary within the self-liberated expanse.
རྣམ་པར་དག་པའི་མཆོད་སྤྲིན་ཀུན། །
nampar dakpé chötrin kün
From the offering clouds of complete purity,
ཡེ་ཤེས་རོལ་པས་བྱིན་ཆེན་ཕོབས། །
yeshé rölpé jinchen pob
let the display of primordial wisdom shower down great blessings.
དངོས་གཞི་ནི།
The Main Part
ཨ སྣང་སྲིད་གཞིར་བཞེངས་དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་འདིར། །
ah nangsi zhir zheng kyilkhor dir
A! Within this mandala of phenomenal appearance as the manifest ground,
ངོ་བོ་རང་བཞིན་ཐུགས་རྗེ་ཡིས། །
ngowo rangzhin tukjé yi
the essence, nature, and capacity
འཁོར་འདས་ཡོངས་ལ་ཁྱབ་པར་གདལ། །
khordé yong la khyapar dal
are present throughout all of samsara and nirvana.
མ་དག་པ་ཡི་མིང་མེད་པས། །
madak payi ming mepé
There is not even the word impurity.
དེ་ཕྱིར་ཨོ་ཌཱི་ཡ་ན་བདག །
dechir odiyana dak
Therefore even I, Uḍḍiyāna,
བདེ་གཤེགས་སྙིང་པོའི་རང་བཞིན་ཅན། །
deshek nyingpö rangzhin chen
possess the nature of sugatagarbha.
ཆ་ལུགས་ཇི་བཞིན་དེ་བཞིན་དུ། །
chaluk ji zhin dé shyin du
Whatever I wear, that’s how I look;
མ་བཅོས་ལྷུག་པའི་ཚུལ་དུ་བསྐྱེད། །
machö lhukpé tsül du kyé
so visualize me in unfabricated naturalness.
སྙིང་ཁར་རིགས་འདུས་རྡོ་རྗེ་སེམས། །
nying kar rikdü dorjé sem
In my heart center is Vajrasattva, the embodiment of all families,
ཡེ་ཤེས་སེམས་དཔའི་ངོ་བོར་བཞུགས། །
yeshé sempé ngowor zhuk
abiding as the essence of the wisdom being.
ཏིང་འཛིན་སེམས་དཔའ་ཀུན་ཏུ་བཟང༌། །
tingzin sempa küntu zang
The samadhi being is Samantabhadra,
མ་བསྐྱེད་ཡེ་རྫོགས་ཆེན་པོར་གསལ། །
makyé yé dzok chenpor sal
uncreated and vividly present as the original great perfection.
སྤྱན་འདྲེན་ནི།
Invitation
ཨ དོན་དམ་གཤེགས་བཞུགས་མི་མངའ་ཡང༌། །
ah döndam shek zhuk mi nga yang
A! Though ultimately you are not subject to coming and going,
སྣང་ཚུལ་ཙམ་དུ་སྤྱན་འདྲེན་ནོ། །
nang tsül tsamdu chen dreno
I invite you as mere appearance.
ཐ་དད་མེད་པར་བཞུགས་སུ་གསོལ།
tadé mepar zhuk su sol
Please remain indivisibly.
རོ་མཉམ་ལྟ་བས་མཇལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ། །
ronyam tawé jal chak tsal
Within the view of single taste, I pay homage in recognition,
ཀུན་བཟང་རྣམ་རོལ་མཆོད་པས་མཆོད། །
künzang namrol chöpé chö
and present you with the offerings of Samantabhadra’s display.
སྒྲིབ་གཉིས་དག་ཚངས་ཀློང་དུ་བཤགས། །
drip nyi dag tsang long du shak
I confess within the expanse of the two purified obscurations
ཡང་དག་ཉིད་དུ་རྗེས་ཡི་རངས། །
yangdag nyidu jeyi rang
and rejoice in the true nature.
དུས་མེད་དོན་དམ་ཆོས་འཁོར་བསྐུལ། །
dümé döndam chökhor kül
Please turn the ultimate Dharma Wheel of timelessness,
རྒྱུན་མི་ཆད་པར་རྟག་བཞུགས་ནས། །
gyünmi chepar tag zhuk né
and forever remain unceasingly.
དམིགས་མེད་དགེ་ཚོགས་འགྲོ་ལ་བསྔོ། །
mikmé getsok drola ngo
I dedicate all non-conceptual virtue to sentient beings.
འཛབ་བཟླས།
The Recitation
ཨ སྙིང་དཀྱིལ་མཐིང་ཀ་ཁྱབ་ཆེན་དབུས། །
ah nying kyil tingka kyapchen ü
A! In the heart center, amid the great all-pervasive blue,
ཐིག་ལེ་སྟོང་སྒྲོན་དྭངས་མའི་དཀྱིལ། །
tiklé tong drön dangmé kyil
in the middle of the pure lamp of the empty bindu,
རིག་གདངས་ལུག་རྒྱུད་ཨ་རུ་གསལ། །
rik dang luk gyü aru sal
the chains of manifest awareness are vividly present as an A.
རང་བབས་དྲན་རིག་རྒྱུན་མི་ཆད། །
rang bap dren rik gyünmi ché
Natural wakefulness is unceasing
ཐམས་ཅད་སངས་རྒྱས་ཞིང་དུ་གྱུར། །
tamché sangyé zhing du gyur
and everything is a buddha realm.

The Conclusion
གཞི་སྣང་རྩལ་དང་རོལ་པ་རྣམས། །
zhi nang tsal dang rölpa nam
All expressions and displays of the manifest ground
གཞི་དབྱིངས་ཀ་དག་ཀློང་དུ་ཐིམ། །
zhi ying kadak long du tim
dissolve back into the primordially pure expanse of basic space.
དུས་གསུམ་དུས་མེད་དགེ་རྩ་ཀུན། །
düsum dümé getsa kün
I dedicate all roots of virtue, timeless and throughout the three times,
འཁོར་གསུམ་ཡོངས་སུ་དག་པས་བསྔོ། །
korsum yong su dakpé ngo
through the total purity of the three spheres.
ཁྱབ་བདག་ལྷུན་གྱིས་གྲུབ་པ་ཡིས། །
khyap dak lhün gyi drupa yi
By means of the spontaneously present all-pervasive sovereign,
དེ་ཁོ་ན་ཉིད་བཀྲ་ཤིས་ཤོག །
dekho nanyi tashi shok
may there be auspicious thatness!
བསྐུལ་བ་པོ་ཡི་ངོར་མི་བཟློག ཨོ་ཌཱི་ཡ་ནས་སུག་ལས་སོ།། །།
