Tseringma Torma Offering
A Concise Torma Dedication to the Teaching and Treasure Guardians of the Guru’s Heart Practice, Dispeller of All Obstacles

Oṃ svasti!
གཏེར་གསར་ཐུགས་སྒྲུབ་བར་ཆད་ཀུན་སེལ་གྱི་བཀའ་སྲུང་ཚེ་རིང་མཆེད་ལྔ། གཏེར་སྲུང་ཁྱུང་བཙུན་མའི་གཏོར་བསྔོ་ཉུང་བསྡུས་ནི།
What follows is the brief torma dedication to the five Tseringma sisters, protectors of the Tukdrup Barché Künsel teaching of the Chokling Tersar, and to Khyungtsünma, the treasure protector:
Cleanse the torma with:
གཏོར་མ་རཾ་ཡཾ་ཁཾ་གིས་བསང༌།
ram yam kham
raṃ yaṃ khaṃ
Consecrate it with:
ༀ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་ཧོཿ ཞེས་བརླབ།
om ah hum hoh
oṃ āḥ hūṃ hoḥ
རང་གི་ཐུགས་ཀའི་ས་བོན་ལས་བྱུང་བའི་འོད་ཟེར་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྲུང་བཀྲ་ཤིས་ཚེ་རིང་མཆེད་ལྔ་དང༌། གཏེར་སྲུང་རྡོ་རྗེ་ཁྱུང་བཙུན་མ་འཁོར་ཡང་འཁོར་སྤྲུལ་པ་ཡང་སྤྲུལ་དང་བཅས་པ་བཛྲ་ས་མཱ་ཛ༔
rang gi tuké sabön lé jungwé özer gyi kasung trashi tsering ché nga dang, ter sung dorjé khyung tsünma khor yang khor trülpa yang trül dang chepa benza samadza༔
Light rays radiating from the seed syllable in my heart center invite the protectors of the teachings, the five Tseringma sisters, and the treasure protector, Dorjé Khyungtsünma, together with their retinues, secondary retinues, emanations, and re-emanations—vajrasamājaḥ༔
ཞེས་པས་སྤྱན་དྲངས།
Thus invite them.
ༀ་བཛྲ་དྷཱ་ཀི་ནཱི་ཨཱ་ཡུ་ཥེ་ཤྭ་རཱི་ཧྲཱིཿམཱཾ་ལཱཾ་ཨཱཾ་ཏཱཾ་ཙིཏྟ་ཧྲཱིཾ་ཧྲཱིཾ་ཛ༔
om benza dakini ahyukhé shori hrih mam lam am tam tsitta hring hring dzah༔
oṃ vajra ḍākinī āyuṣeśvarī hrīḥ māṃ lāṃ āṃ tāṃ citta hrīṃ hrīṃ ja༔
ཞེས་ཐུགས་དམ་བསྐུལ།
Thus invoke their sacred oaths.
ༀ་བཛྲ་ཨརྒྷཾ་ནས་ཤབྡ་པྲ་ཏཱིཙྪ་སྭཱཧཱ། མ་ཧཱ་པཉྩ་ཨ་མྲྀ་ཏ་རཀྟ་མ་ཧཱ་སུ་ཁ་བ་ལིཾ་ཏ་བྷུཉྫ་ཧོ༔
om benza argham padyam pushpé dhupé aloké ghendhé naividya shapta pratitsa soha, maha pentsa amrita rakta maha sukha balingta puza hoh༔
oṃ vajra arghaṃ pādyaṃ puṣpe dhūpe āloke gandhe naividya śabda pratīccha svāhā | mahāpañca amṛta rakta mahāsukha baliṃta bhuñja hoḥ༔
ཞེས་པས་མཆོད།
Thus make offerings.
སྨན་བཙུན་མཆེད་ལྔ་འཁོར་དང་བཅས་པའི་ལྗགས་རྡོ་རྗེའི་སྦུ་གུ་ཅན་གྱི་འོད་ཀྱིས་གཏོར་མའི་བཅུད་དྲངས་ཏེ་གསོལ་བར་གྱུར།
mentsün ché nga khor dang chepé jak dorjé bugu chen gyi ökyi tormé chü drang té sölwar gyur
The five medicine sisters and their retinue partake of the torma, consuming its essence with the light of the hollow vajra of their tongues.
ༀ་བཛྲ་དྷཱ་ཀི་ནི་ཨཱ་ཡུ་ཥེ་ཤྭ་རཱི་ས་མཱ་ཛ༔ ཨཱ་ཡུར་པུཎྱེ་པུཥྚིཾ་ཀུ་རུ་སྭཱཧཱ༔ ༀ་ཛྙཱ་ན་དྷཱ་ཀི་ནཱི་མཱཾ་ལཱཾ་ཨཱཾ་ཏཱཾ་སརྦ་སིདྡྷི་ཧཱུྃ་ཧཱུྃ༔ ༀ་བཛྲ་མ་ཏི་ཧཱུྃ༔ ས་པ་རི་ཝཱ་ར་ཨི་དཾ་བ་ལིཾ་ཏ་ཁ་ཁ་ཁཱ་ཧི་ཁཱ་ཧི༔
om benza dakini ahyukhé shori samaya dzah༔ ahyur punyé puktim kuru soha༔ om gyana dakini mam lam am tam sarva siddhi hum hum༔ om benza mati hum༔ saparivara idam balingta kha kha khahi khahi༔
oṃ vajraḍākinī āyuṣeśvarī samājaḥ༔ āyurpunye puṣṭiṃ kuru svāhā༔ oṃ jñāna ḍākinī māṃ lāṃ āṃ tāṃ sarvasiddhi hūṃ hūṃ༔ oṃ vajramati hūṃ༔ saparivāra idaṃ baliṃta khakha khāhi khāhi༔
ལན་གསུམ་གྱིས་གཏོར་མ་འབུལ།
Saying that three times, offer the torma.

pel zhing lé kyepé dhaki wangchukma༔ ying chöku tröpa dang drelwé ngang lé mayö zhindu༔ rikpa rang nang longku yeshé kyi khandroma nampa ngayi tsül du zheng té༔ trülku menmö tsül gyi sangyé kyi tenpa sungwar dzepa jomo trashi tseyi wangchukma༔ ting gi zhel zangma༔ miyo lang zangma༔ chöpen drinzangma༔ telkar drozangma༔ kharak khyung tsünma༔ khor sipa sum gyi menmo bumtrak yangpé tsok dang chepa sölo༔ chödo༔ bülo༔ nyerap kyi chok༔ gyerap kyi pül dampar gyur té༔
Glorious ḍākinī queens born from the purelands!༔ While not wavering from the basic space of dharmakāya, the state void of constructs,༔ you manifest as the self-appearance of awareness in the form of the five sambhogakāya wisdom ḍākinīs,༔ and in the nirmāṇakāya form of medicine ladies you protect the Buddha’s doctrine. Jomo Trashi Tseyi Wangchukma,༔ Ting Gi Zhel Zangma,༔ Miyo Lang Zangma,༔ Chöpen Drizangma,༔ Telkar Drozangma,༔ Kharak Khyungtsünma,༔ together with your retinue, the vast gathering of the hundreds of thousands of medicine ladies of the three planes of existence—I supplicate you,༔ offer to you,༔ proffer you these,༔ the most delightful of things,༔ the most pleasing, sublime offerings.༔
རྣལ་འབྱོར་པ་བདག་ཅག་དཔོན་སློབ་ཡོན་མཆོད་འཁོར་དང་བཅས་པ་རྣམས་ལ་དགྱེས་པའི་ཞལ་སྟོན༔ འཛུམ་པའི་མདངས་ཕྱུངས༔ ལུས་དང་གྲིབ་མ་བཞིན་དུ་མི་འབྲལ་བར་འགྲོགས་ཏེ་ཆོས་དང་མཐུན་པའི་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་རྒྱ་ཆེན་པོ་སྩལ་བ་དང་༔ རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཆད་པའི་འཇིགས་པ་སོགས་འཕྲལ་རྐྱེན་ངན་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཞི་བ་དང་༔ ཅི་བསམ་པའི་དོན་ཐམས་ཅད་ཆོས་དང་མཐུན་པར་ཡིད་བཞིན་དུ་འགྲུབ་པར་མཛད་དུ་གསོལ༔
neljorpa dakchak pönlop yönchö khor dang chepa nam la gyepé zhel tön༔ dzumpé dang chung༔ lü dang dripma zhindu mi drelwar drok té chö dang tünpé longchö gyachenpo tselwa dang༔ gyelpö chepé jikpa sok trel kyen ngenpa tamché zhiwa dang༔ chi sampé dön tamché chö dang tünpar yi zhindu drupar dzedu söl༔
Reveal for us yogis—gurus, disciples, patrons, and entourage—your delighted faces!༔ Radiantly smile upon us!༔ Like a shadow never parts from its body, accompany us and bestow vast enjoyments in accord with the Dharma!༔ Appease all passing adverse circumstances, such as the dangers of punishment by the state,༔ and make all our wishes and aims be fulfilled in accord with the Dharma!༔
ཀྱཻ༔ ཡེ་ཤེས་སྐྱེད་མཛད་ཆོས་སྐུ་ཡུམ་ཆེན་མོ༔
kyé༔ yeshé kyé dzé chöku yum chenmo༔
Kyé༔ Great dharmakāya mother who gives birth to primordial wisdom,༔
རྒྱལ་ཀུན་རྡོ་རྗེའི་བཙུན་མོ་རྣལ་འབྱོར་མ༔
gyel kün dorjé tsünmo neljorma༔
yoginī and vajra queen of all victors,༔
ལོངས་སྐུ་རིགས་ལྔའི་ཡུམ་མཆོག་དབྱིངས་ཕྱུག་ལྔ༔
longku rik ngé yum chok yingchuk nga༔
the five dhātvīśvarīs, exalted consorts of the five sambhogakāya buddhas,༔
ཁྲག་འཐུང་དགྱེས་སྡེ་ཀྲོ་དྷཱི་ཤྭ་རཱིར་སྣང་༔
traktung gyedé trodi shorir nang༔
you appear as the krodhiśvarīs who delight the herukas.༔
སྤྲུལ་སྐུ་བདེ་གཤེགས་རྡོ་རྗེ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ༔
trülku deshek dorjé rinpoché༔
Performing the nirmāṇakāya dances of the sugata,༔
པདྨ་ལས་ཀྱི་མཁའ་འགྲོའི་གར་མཛད་མ༔
pema lekyi khandrö gar dzéma༔
vajra, ratna, padma, and karma ḍākinīs,༔
གནས་ཡུལ་དུར་ཁྲོད་ཀུན་ཏུ་སྣ་ཚོགས་གཟུགས༔
né yül durtrö kün tu natsok zuk༔
you appear in myriad forms in all places, valleys, and charnel grounds–༔
གངས་ཅན་སངས་རྒྱས་བསྟན་སྲུང་འཁོར་ལོའི་བདག༔
gang chen sangyé tensung khorlö dak༔
you, queen of the mandala of Dharma protectors in the Land of Snow!༔
ལྷན་ཅིག་སྐྱེས་མའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་རྣམ་རོལ་ལས༔
lhenchik kyemé yeshé namröl lé༔
From the coemergent lady’s display of primordial wisdom,༔
དངོས་གྲུབ་མཆོག་སྩོལ་སྨན་བཙུན་མཆེད་སྡེ་ལྔ༔
ngödrup chok tsöl mentsün chedé nga༔
bestowers of the supreme siddhi, the five medicine sisters,༔
སྤྲུལ་པ་ཡང་སྤྲུལ་ཉིང་སྤྲུལ་བསམ་མི་ཁྱབ༔
trülpa yang trül nying trül sami khyap༔
you appear with emanations and re-emanations surpassing thought–༔
སྣང་སྲིད་དྷཱ་ཀི་ཀུན་གྱི་འཁོར་ལོས་སྒྱུར༔
nangsi dhaki kün gyi khorlö gyur༔
you, the universal rulers of all ḍākinīs of phenomenal appearance!༔
བསམ་ཡས་སྒྱུ་འཕྲུལ་དྲྭ་བའི་ཚོགས་རྣམས་ལ༔
samyé gyutrül drawé tsok nam la༔
Inconceivable gathering of the web of illusory display:༔
གུས་པས་བསྟོད་དོ་འདོད་དགུའི་དངོས་གྲུབ་སྩོལ༔
güpé tödo dögü ngödrup tsöl༔
I devotedly praise you—bestow all desired siddhis!༔
ཅེས་བསྟོད་ཅིང་ཕྲིན་ལས་གསོལ་ལོ། །
With that, praise them and enjoin them to activity.
ཞེས་པའང་གཏེར་གཞུང་རྩ་བ་ནས་འཇམ་དབྱངས་མཁྱེན་བརྩེའི་དབང་པོས་བསྡུས་ཏེ་བཀོད་པ་དགེ་ལེགས་སུ་གྱུར་ཅིག།

༈ གཏེར་གསར་ཚེ་རིང་མའི་གཏོར་མ་འབུལ་བའི་འདོད་གསོལ་བཞུགས་སོ། །
The Torma Offering to Tseringma According to the New Treasures–The Request for the Fulfillment of Desires
ཧྲཱིཿ འོད་གསལ་དབྱིངས་ལས་བདེ་ཆེན་ཡེ་ཤེས་མདངས། །
hrih, ösel ying lé dechen yeshé dang
Hrīḥ! Radiance of great bliss wakefulness arising from luminous basic space,
ཞིང་སྐྱོང་ལྷ་སྨན་རྒྱལ་མོ་མཆེད་ལྔ་དང༌། །
zhing kyong lhamen gyelmo ché nga dang
five sister queens of the realm protectors and medicine gods,
རིགས་ཀྱི་ཚོམ་བུ་འབུམ་སྡེ་འཁོར་བཅས་ཀྱིས། །
riki tsombu bumdé khor ché kyi
and your retinues of hundreds of thousands of gatherings of the families:
གཏོར་མ་གསེར་སྐྱེམས་ཕུད་མཆོད་དགྱེས་བཞེས་ལ། །
torma serkyem pü chö gyé zhé la
Joyfully accept this eminent offering of oblation and golden libation!
རྒྱལ་བའི་བསྟན་སྲུང་བླ་མའི་སྐུ་ཚེ་སྲིངས། །
gyelwé tensung lamé kutsé sing
Protect the victors’ teaching and prolong the gurus’ lifespans!
འདུས་པའི་སྡེ་རྒྱས་འཕགས་པའི་ནོར་གྱིས་ཕྱུག །
düpé dégyé pakpé nor gyi chuk
Make the sangha grow and become rich in noble qualities!
རྣལ་འབྱོར་ཚེ་དབང་འབྱོར་པ་སྙན་གྲགས་སྤེལ། །
neljor tsé wang jorpa nyen drak pel
Increase practitioners’ lifespan, mastery, prosperity, and renown!
བདེ་སྟོང་ཡེ་ཤེས་སྐྱེད་པའི་གྲོགས་མཛོད་ཅིག །
detong yeshé kyepé drok dzö chik
Help us give birth to bliss-empty wakefulness!
གཞིས་བྱེས་ཉིན་དང་མཚན་མོ་དུས་རྟག་ཏུ། །
zhi ché nyin dang tsenmo dü tak tu
Throughout night and day, wherever we may be,
བདག་འཁོར་ཡོན་བདག་བྱམས་པའི་ཐུགས་ཀྱིས་སྐྱོངས། །
dak khor yöndak jampé tuki kyong
nurture us—my entourage, the patrons, and myself—with your love!
འཇིགས་དང་བར་ཆད་འཚེ་བ་ཀུན་ལས་སྐྱོབས། །
jik dang barché tsewa kün lé kyop
Protect us from all dangers, obstacles, and harm!
བཀྲ་ཤིས་བདེ་ལེགས་དབྱར་མཚོ་ལྟར་རྒྱས་མཛོད། །
trashi delek yar tso tar gyé dzö
Make fortune, virtue, and excellence grow like a lake in monsoon!
རྒྱལ་ཁམས་ཀུན་ཏུ་ནད་མུག་མཚོན་འཁྲུགས་ཞི། །
gyelkham kün tu né muk tsön truk zhi
Appease disease, famine, and conflict in all countries!
ལོ་ཕྱུགས་ལེགས་ཤིང་དགེ་བའི་ཆོས་སྤྱོད་འཕེལ། །
lo chuk lek shing gewé chö chö pel
Make harvests and livestock flourish and virtuous conduct spread!
སྐྱེ་དགུའི་མོས་སྣང་དམ་པའི་ཆོས་ལ་སྒྱུར། །
kyégü mönang dampé chö la gyur
Turn all beings’ interest toward the sublime Dharma
དག་པ་མཁའ་སྤྱོད་གནས་སུ་བསུ་སྐྱེལ་མཛོད། །
dakpa khachö nesu su kyel dzö
and lead us to the pure celestial realms!
ཐུགས་དམ་མ་བསྙེལ་བརྩེ་གདུང་མ་ཆུང་བར། །
tukdam ma nyel tsé dung ma chungwar
Don’t forget your sacred oath! With unwavering love and affection,
མདོར་ན་འཇིག་རྟེན་འཇིག་རྟེན་འདས་པ་ཡི། །
dor na jikten jikten dépayi
enact the activities swiftly and unimpededly
ལས་དང་དངོས་གྲུབ་ཇི་ལྟར་བསམ་པའི་དོན། །
lé dang ngödrup ji tar sampé dön
to help us accomplish all our aims—in short,
ཐོགས་མེད་མྱུར་དུ་འགྲུབ་པའི་ཕྲིན་ལས་མཛོད། །
tokmé nyur du drupé trinlé dzö
all activities and siddhis, both transcendental and mundane!
ཅེས་པའང་ཀུན་མཁྱེན་འཇམ་དབྱངས་བླ་མའི་བཀའ་བཞིན་པདྨ་གར་གྱི་དབང་ཕྱུག་རྩལ་གྱིས་བྲིས་པ་དགེ་ལེགས་འཕེལ། མངྒ་ལཾ།། །།
