༄༅། །རྗེ་དྲུང་རིན་པོ་ཆེས་བསྐུལ་བའི་གསོལ་འདེབས།
The Prayer Requested by Jedrung Rinpoche1
from A Shower of Precious Blessings
དུས་གསུམ་དགོངས་བརྡ་སྙན་གཏེར་སྨོན་ལམ་བརྒྱུད། །
dü sum gong da nyen ter mönlam gyü
You completely imbue all the vidyādharas
ཆོས་ལོངས་སྤྲུལ་སྐུའི་རིག་འཛིན་རྣམས་ལ་ཁྱབ། །
chö long tulkü rigdzin nam la khyap
of the wisdom, sign, oral, treasure, and aspiration lineages,of the dharmakāya, sambhogakāya, and nirmāṇakāya, throughout all three times.
བླ་མ་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀུན་འདུས་གུ་རུ་ལ། །
lama sangyé kündü guru la
You are the guru who embodies all guru-buddhas.
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བདག་རྒྱུད་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
sölwa dep so dak gyü chingyi lop
I pray to you! Bless my mindstream!
མདོ་རྒྱུ་སེམས་གསུམ་བཀའ་བརྒྱད་དགོངས་པ་འདུས། །
do gyu sem sum kagyé gongpa dü
The trio of Sutra, Illusion, and Mind;the Eight Sādhana Teachings; and the Assembled Realization—
མ་ལུས་སྤྲོ་དང་བསྡུ་བའི་དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་གཙོ། །
malü tro dang duwé kyilkhor tso
as chief of the mandala, you emanate and reabsorb them all.
ཡི་དམ་དམ་ཆོས་ཀུན་འདུས་གུ་རུ་ལ། །
yidam damchö kündü guru la
You, the guru embodying all yidams and sacred Dharma—
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་མཆོག་ཐུན་དངོས་གྲུབ་སྩོལ། །
sölwa dep so choktün ngödrup tsöl
I pray to you! Bestow the supreme and common siddhis!
ཕྱི་ཡི་ཉན་ཐོས་ནང་གི་བྱང་སེམས་དང་། །
chi yi nyentö nang gi jangsem dang
You, the noble lord of the assembly of outer śrāvakas,
གསང་བ་དཔའ་བོ་མཁའ་འགྲོའི་ཚོགས་དཔོན་རྗེ། །
sangwa pawo khandrö tsok pön jé
of inner bodhisattvas, and of secret spiritual heroes and sky-goers,
ཚོགས་མཆོག་མཁའ་འགྲོའི་དབང་ཕྱུག་གུ་རུ་ལ། །
tsok chok khandrö wangchuk guru la
mighty sovereign of the supreme sky-goer assembly—
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཕྱི་ནང་བར་ཆད་སོལ། །
sölwa dep so chi nang bar ché söl
Guru, I pray to you! Dispel the outer and inner obstacles!
སྐུ་ཚབ་ལུང་བསྟན་གསུང་ཚབ་གཏེར་དུ་སྦས། །
kutsap lungten sung tsap ter du bé
You left foretold representations of your body,you concealed countless treasures as representations of your speech,
ཐུགས་ཀྱི་དགོངས་པ་ལས་ཅན་བུ་ལ་གཏད། །
tuk kyi gongpa lechen bu la té
and you entrusted your wisdom mind to those with karmic connections.
བོད་ལ་སྐུ་དྲིན་ཆེ་བའི་གུ་རུ་ལ། །
bö la kudrin chewé guru la
You, who have shown such great kindness to Tibet,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཆོས་མཐུན་བསམ་པ་སྒྲུབ། །
sölwa dep so chö tün sampa drup
Guru, I pray to you! Fulfill our wishes in accordance with the Dharma!
གུ་རུ་ཁྱེད་དང་བརྒྱུད་པ་འཛིན་རྣམས་ལ། །
guru khyé dang gyüpa dzin nam la
To you, my guru, and to all the lineage holders,
བདག་གིས་བློ་གཏད་རེ་ལྟོས་བགྱིད་ལགས་ན། །
dak gi lo té ré tö gyi lak na
as I surrender myself to you and place all my trust in you,
སྔོན་གྱི་ཞལ་བཞེས་བཞིན་དུ་ཐུགས་རྗེས་གཟིགས། །
ngön gyi zhelzhé zhindu tukjé zik
look upon us with compassion, as you pledged you would do.
གནས་སྐབས་མཐར་ཐུག་འཇིགས་པ་ཀུན་ལས་སྐྱོབས། །
nekap tartuk jikpa kün lé kyop
Temporarily and ultimately, protect us from all dangers!
མཐུན་རྐྱེན་ཚེ་བསོད་སྟོབས་འབྱོར་ཉམས་རྟོགས་སྤེལ། །
tünkyen tsesö topjor nyamtok pel
Augment all favorable conditions:long life, merit, strength and wealth, experience and realization!
མོས་བཞི་དབང་སྡུད་རང་གཞན་དོན་གཉིས་འགྲུབ། །
mö zhi wangdü rangzhen dön nyi drup
Help us to gain mastery over the four admirationsand to fulfill the twofold benefit of self and other.
དགྲ་བགེགས་ཚར་གཅོད་རང་རིག་མངོན་གྱུར་ནས། །
dragek tsarchö rangrik ngöngyur né
Grant your blessings that we vanquish foes and obstructers,
པདྨ་འོད་དུ་སྐྱེ་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
pema ö du kyewar chingyi lop
that we come to manifest natural awareness, and are reborn in Lotus Light!
ཅེས་དཔལ་རི་བོ་ཆེའི་གདན་ས་འཛིན་པ་རྗེ་དྲུང་རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་གསུང་ངོར། མཆོག་གྱུར་གླིང་པས་ཆོས་རྗེ་མཁར་དྲུང་པའི་གཟིམ་ཆུང་དུ་བྲིས་པ་ཡུན་དུ་དགེ་བར་གྱུར་ཅིག །
At the behest of Jedrung Rinpoche,2 the head of the glorious monastic seat, Riwoche, Chokgyur Lingpa wrote this in the Dharma Lord Khardrung’s residence. May it lead to constant goodness!
