A Prayer to the Guru of Uddiyana1
from A Shower of Precious Blessings
སངས་རྒྱས་ཀུན་འདུས་བླ་མ་རྗེ། །
sangyé kündü lama jé
You embody all buddhas, Lord Guru; you embody all sacred Dharmas,
དམ་ཆོས་ཀུན་འདུས་ཡི་དམ་གསུང་། །
damchö kündü yidam sung
you are the yidam, awakened speech;
མཁའ་འགྲོའི་ཚོགས་རྗེ་པདྨ་འབྱུང་། །
khandrö tsokjé pema jung
you are the lord of all dakinis, the Lotus Born—
ཁྱེད་ལ་སྙིང་ནས་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །
khyé la nying né sölwa dep
from my heart, master, I pray to you!
ཕྱི་ནང་གསང་བའི་བར་ཆད་སོལ། །
chi nang sangwé barché söl
Please dispel all obstacles, outer, inner, and secret,
མཆོག་དང་ཐུན་མོང་དངོས་གྲུབ་སྩོལ། །
chok dang tünmong ngödrup tsöl
and bestow the siddhis, common and supreme!
ཅེས་བསམ་ཡས་ནས་མཆོག་གྱུར་གླིང་པས་སྤེལ་བ་དགེ །
